The adoption of PHP on IBM i has opened up new and interesting methods both for development of customized web-based applications that leverage IBM i resources as well as deployment of open community solutions. This presentation will take a look at the current state of PHP and MySQL offerings for IBM i and explore the devleopment/deployment stacks that these offerings enable. Additionally, this session will take a look at the latest MySQL storage engine, IBMDB2i, which allows for LAMP based applications to store their data in DB2 for IBM i tables.

can I have a link to the slides? I'm trying to prep for my pitch to the bosses on running PHP on the i. Think some of the slides will be of great value in that effort.

Enjoyed the talk. Between this talk and the one before, I was able to cover a lot of ground on how to tackle one of my projects.
