You write code, you introduce bugs. There is simply no way to avoid that. During this session I present an application with many styles of different bugs introduced into the code base. You will learn how to use debugging tools (Xdebug, KCacheGrind, etc.), that we're going to use to dive into the code and figure out what and where the bugs are.

VERY Useful talk Derick. Many thanks for introducing us to the world of XDebug. I'm sure you have increased the userbase by another few tens of users. Perhaps a few basic demonstrations of chasing a real world bug through xdebug would have been a nice addition.

I used xdebug primarly as an "extended var_dump" so far. but this session gave me an excellent overwiew about this powerful tool and how it can help to find code leaks. looking forward to get my hands on the shown features.
