Auch wenn JavaScript selbst durchgehend objektorientiert aufgebaut ist und auch nahezu jedes moderne JS-Framework ebenfalls auf Objekte setzt, so verwenden viele JavaScript doch weiterhin "klassisch" prozedural. Diese Session wird versuchen, dies zu ändern: Es wird gezeigt, wie Objekte in JavaScript funktionieren, warum Prototype-OOP nicht schlecht, sondern einfach nur anders ist, welche Vorteile man durch OOP in JavaScript hat und vor allem, was man alles besser nicht überschreiben sollte.

A very good introduction into the prototype concept of Javascript with a lot of hints and recommendations how to write good JS code.
