Thinking in documents (and dropping ACID)

This talk will focus the main bottleneck of the scalability now days, the database. It will explain why is hard to scale using RDBMS such as MySQL, Postgresql or similar, and will introduce a lots of alternatives. From the alternatives will talk in deep details about two similar Documents Oriented Database, CouchDB and MongoDB. It will show how to think in terms of documents, showing a set of examples with Tables, Inner joins and random SQL and their equivalent code using MongoDB or CouchDB. This talk also will show a simple ORM abstraction class that I've coded to made even easier for the developer the transition from DBMS to MongoDB.
