Talk at phpDay 2010 (English - UK)
This talk will share elements and personal experiences which have emerged while trying to address various issues involved in writing good PHP Code. Besides classic topics like coding standards and generally accepted good practices, focused attention will be given to what PHP has specifically to offer. It'll be shown how to use and exploit, among other things: Namespaces, Type Hinting, Closures and magic methods & constants. To end things up in true glory (or complete shame) some considerations will even be thrown to the infamous GOTO statement, introduced in PHP 5.3.
