Interesting insight on HiPHoP for PHP. The Facebook numbers at the beginning were impressive. The optimization gained from the HiPHoP compiler were equally impressive. Got me inspired to at least try it out some time.

Favourite talk so far, very well presented. Its great to see some of the stuff facebook are giving back to PHP. Some great additional PHP functions to look into in esp. fb_parallel_query() ?

More, more, more!!! (Interesting, fun and will definately use it in the near future)

Scott is very well-informed and gave a great talk, funny and a nice narrative. Plus he had the guts to demo hiphop live, which was cool.

I've seen Scott's HipHop for PHP talk evolve quite significantly since the FOSDEM in Belgium. It started with an explanation of the concept, but now it's quite practical (which I like).

I like the ambition of the project and I love the "pirate style" attitude Scott brings to the people. I learned a lot about the evolution of the project and I enjoyed watching Scott talk about it.

Enjoyable talk to end the day with. Not seen anything about HiPHoP until this and it was an excellent introduction.

Scott gave a compelling presentation about Facebook, and their HipHop PHP compiler/transformator. He had the guts to demo it live on stage, which was really cool. Nothing speaks for a project like running the same codes four times as fast :)

Scott handled the tricky questions like a pro, when asked what happens when the generated executable crashes.

Enjoyable talk. Thank you.

Nice and entertaining talk, he convinced me to have a close look at HipHop.

Fantastic talk. It was interesting to hear about some of the less well publicised PSRs that hopefully should be coming our way soon
