Many PHP developers are looking for a full stack framework to speed up their development time. Some are just looking to expand their programming knowledge of other languages. Django offers a mature, full-stack framework for rapidly developing web applications. This talk brings PHP developers up to speed on what Django is, why they should be looking at it, how to use it, what problems they might encounter when they switch, and how Django compares to CakePHP with an example application built in both.
