I agree with enygma, the talk was more of an intro compared to "enterprise". I think the speaker was well spoken and understands the content. I feel authentication/security was very short and needed more follow up.

Talk at Dallas TechFest 2010 (English - US)
Mashups have become the defacto standard for social software and web 2.0 integration by delivering on the promise of SOA. Mashups are the fastest and easiest way to combine information from multiple sources into a new useful application or service. By blending the simplicity of RESTful web services with RIA technologies, mashups can be developed rapidly in the enterprise.
This presentation will demonstrate the steps necessary to get an enterprise mashup up-and-running quickly by consuming RESTful web services with jQuery (the easiest way to write JavaScript). You will be taken through the development of an enterprise mashup that can be embedded in any web application, regardless of the platform or technology, enabling you to take advantage of the benefits of SOA today.

Not a bad session, but not as in-depth as I would have liked to see. It came across as more of an introduction to jQuery and how to use it's functions to connect to services. It was pretty short and could have used a nice code-based example at the end.
