I think the speakers did a good job; however the session description caused me to expect something with more substance. The session made me want to join the summit!

Talk at UNC CAUSE 2010 (English - US)
The 2010 Classroom Summit preconference workshop (at this year’s UNC CAUSE) brought together the stakeholders in campus learning space from each of the UNC system campuses and beyond to exchange ideas and discuss:
* The challenges and choices we face as demand for services and facilities outpaces budget growth.
* The impact of emerging technologies (such as lecture capture, wireless video, HDTV) on services.
* The need for improving processes (including planning for classroom improvements; inclusive designs that support teaching and learning needs; governance over classroom resources; budgets) as we grow from a mom-n-pop shop into an enterprise-level service.
* How to bring all the above challenges, services, and desires together to create a practical learning environment that facilitates educational goals.
All UNC CAUSE attendees are invited to participate in this dynamic wrap-up session in which we review key take-aways from our earlier sessions and identify next-steps for the coming year.

Great job and thank you for sharing this project. I hope to see a statewide or regional summit in the field of instructional design for online instructors.

Enjoyed learning more about what the summit discovered and compiled. I believe this type of data mining is important to the entire system of UNC! Good job!
