i felt the presenter was a little prejudices to his views. I didn't feel an open forum was necessarily given.

Talk at SACRAO 2011 (English - US)
SESSION ROOM: ATLANTA 4
Registrar's Offices are always in transition depending on factors inside and outside of our home institutions and also our vision for moving forward with our services. New jobs present themselves and other jobs are no longer needed. However, we often do not have the freedom, funds, or space to hire the exact talent we need when we need it, and refitting current staff members' skills may not be practical. So, we wait for the opportunities and change the office little by little, or we embark on reorganization projects that can be time consuming and disruptive. But suppose just for a moment that you were able to completely start over with a blank slate and you had the funds and space you need with no obstacles. What will the staff/services/responsibilities of the future look like? When staffing this future office what are the new areas we foresee? What are the hiring requirements of the future and what talents do we need in the staff who fill the positions?

Did a good job of integrating personal experience into an existing presentation.
