This talk will:

- Walk through a few very simple decorators for people who have never seen them before.
- Show some real-world uses.
- Discuss aspect-oriented programming and decorators.
- Discuss Michele Simionato's decorator module.
- Look at properties as decorators, including the enhancements coming in python 2.6.
- Phillip Eby's PEAK-rules package implements generic functions for python. I'll walk through the theory behind generic functions, then how to use PEAK-rules.
- Look at class decorators (coming in 2.6) as an alternative to metaclasses.
