Using a number of MySQL tables, this class is a lightweight but powerful way to identify and grant or restrict access to users based on their membership in groups or the specific permissions assigned to the user. The class is self-contained, allowing it to be deployed with or without certain pre-existing database tables. The class will create it's own tables and contains the methods necessary to output the proper CRUD tools to manage the application.
The design of the application is such that it can be added to any existing application with little or no effort.
