Although I have read a lot about OOP in PHP but I attended this talk as I don't pretend to know everything and hoped to learn something.
The talk was well presented and informative and I did learn something I didn't know I didn't know.

I also attended to this crash-course session with humble perspective and indeed learned about method chaining. I was expecting more advanced OO concepts but this was out of the session scope which was only lasting 30 minutes anyway.

Pretty well pegged for the time available. May well have been "beneath" those with a background in other OO languages but we'd be wise to remember that a lot of people come to PHP with no prior experience and wouldn't otherwise know about various best practices.

An interesting talk and a good introduction for the OOP novice. Most of it I already knew but there were a few things that I didn't realise before.
Overall well presented and informative.
