Writing documentation sucks, and only few people appreciate your work. When writing a book all seems to change: you will get admiration of your peers, chocolate from happy readers, and groupies (well, not really). On the other hand it is hard to find a publisher, and hard to actually write the book. Join this roundtable and discuss with fellow authors and fellow prospective authors what it takes to write a book, how to put an idea into a proposal, and learn about common pitfalls and misconceptions.
