Dennis took statsD blips and made them dance.

The energy and enthusiasm that Dennis brought to the subject of small UDP packets sent from an application brought the subject to life and inspired us all. He showed us how easy it is to get started and offered advice on a variety of tools we can use to tap into the potential. He inspired us with dreams of omniscience, expanding our awareness to subtle changes in our applications so that we can anticipate problems before the client becomes aware of them.

I think everyone in the audience will be tapping into the possibilities of statsD as soon as they get home.

This was a very insightful talk and well presented. I think it sprung up a lot of ideas how to apply this to your own projects, it certainly did for me.

This talk had a very interesting topic, that could be useful in many areas and is therefore suitable for a larger public. Dennis explained all concepts in a constructive way, so that both people with more and less knowledge should be able to follow and understand. The structure of the talk was good, and later the demo gave more insight on the possibilities and benefits of StatsD.

Great presentation.
Would have been nice to have a performance comparison to show why udp was used and how much is gained vs other stats options.
