Like any other organization, CakePHP has applications and services it deploys to support the organization. Unlike many companies, it's developers are unpaid volunteers in many timezones. How does CakePHP manage it's infrastructure in a transparent, distributed fashion? This talk will cover tips and tricks we use to minimize our server overhead while keeping everyone informed of how things work.

An interesting list of problems and the tooling to help solve those problems, with solid reasoning. Raised some good points for thought about how to pick your tools.

I appreciated this insight into how some things are being done. This is a whole series of things in which I'm unfamiliar, and for that reason it was hard for me to keep track of it all, but I don't think that was an issue with the talk.
