Nice introduction to many useful features of the kotlin language and platform for android development.
While similar but easier to handle than java, I'm not sure it justifies the passage to a new language.
My personal take is that it can be a useful tool for android-focused development for fulltime java devs. Otherwise it sounds like a nice commercial move from jetbrains to attract developers to their (absolutely great) IDE.
The presentation was clearly exposed, based on many practical code samples and some live usage of the IDE.
