Light hearted and funny presentation around basic refactoring skills. Behind the simple example, a lot of important refactoring principles are touched upon. Katrina is an engaging speaker, was super well prepared and kept the audience interested.

Well executed and entertaining presentation, I enjoyed it a lot. In particular, I liked the personal touch.

The rant on pet peeves and taking full advantage of implicit Ruby behaviour seemed a little unnecessary. But then again, I'm not a Ruby developer. ;-)

Just like the CSI:Ruby Ruby session earlier in the morning, Therapeutic Refactoring was informative, entertaining and really enjoyable. Great tips on refactoring demonstrated through working with a really good example of really bad code. Katrina is a great speaker.
