We love Web Development and all things PHP. Our meetings are often a little free-formed, but we shoot for this schedule:

6:30pm - Andrew Koebbe: PHP Koans: Learning PHP through broken code

Overview: If a person came up to you and asked how they should learn PHP, what would you say? Read a book or PHP the Right Way? Take an online course? Just start messing around? These usually our gotos, but there is something lacking in each of these: concise hands-on exercises that give you a guided tour of PHP without the fluff. PHP Koans provides this learning format. I'll explain my motivation for creating PHP Koans, we'll work through some of them together, and I'll tell you how you can help the project.
