Well done Freek, nice live example. You did not look like a firsttimer. Great way how you've explained the grandfather-father-son by using an image.
Would only recommend to use 'php artisan' instead of your alias in the presentation.

Beautifully designed slides, excellent topic and a good speaker. You come of as a very relaxed speaker with good knowledge of PHP. Briefly explaining the different open source packages was also a nice touch, as it was a good 5-minute intro that the audience can further investigate on its own.

This was a really nice talk. I liked that it was a whole story and that there was a nice solution. This package is really helpful! Really a perfect first talk.
