If you have a chance to see Ben talk about HTTP you should take it. He explains the vast world of HTTP and all of its intricacies with down-to-earth examples.

I joined very late but still managed to get the owasp Juice Shop running and install the testing tool without any issues. The speaker clearly knew a lot about web application security and quickly guided us to some interesting insights with the installed software. It was amazing that we could use our own laptops during the session, and he made a great effort to keep everyone engaged throughout. I really enjoyed it and learned a lot.

For improvement, it would be great if the details of the ZAP tool were a bit easier to see from the back of the room — that’s my only suggestion. Overall, it was a fun and inspiring talk that made me want to keep exploring web security topics further!

This talk should be required for any developer dealing with APIs or HTTP, and Ben presented it in a clear, easy-to-follow format.

The session on web accessibility was really interesting and informative. I learned a lot about how people with disabilities navigate websites — especially the use of landmarks, screen readers, and other accessibility features. It was also great to discover which screen readers are commonly used and even try installing one ourselves.

That said, the workshop part could have been more interactive. Although the group was small, we didn’t get much hands-on practice with the tools or the screen reader itself. I also missed some discussion of regulatory aspects — though I arrived a little late, so it’s possible that part was covered earlier.

It would have been great to explore more practical exercises and tools that automatically check accessibility, as well as whether AI can assist in optimizing it. The session was scheduled for three hours but finished quite a bit earlier, so there was definitely time for a deeper dive.

Still, I really appreciate the effort and focus on such an important topic — accessibility deserves more attention, and this session helped raise awareness of its real-world impact.

Excellent talk, learned a lot. Easy to follow along and enthusiastic and knowledgeable speaker.

A really great overview of Rector with practical exercises that get people writing configurable, flexible, and tested(!) rectors. This helped fill in some gaps in my experience, and I'm excited to take this newfound knowledge back to work!

Great tutorial! I really enjoyed how he started off with energy — the examples were clear, practical, and very well prepared. I’m feeling more confident using Rector now and won’t hesitate to write custom rules when my IDE doesn’t already support them or when no existing rule fits. Thanks for the inspiring session!
