This talk is about communicating with visuals to make complex ideas simple to understand. Over the years I have produced diagrams, charts, illustrations and other graphics to help people understand sophisticated project concepts. This includes project architecture, standard operating procedures, coding concepts, sprints and roadmaps.
You will be guided through ways of how to make stylized examples of your project code and workflows in easy to follow examples. By using common software for illustrations along with some simple guidelines you too can make easy to follow visual content for your next project.

Great detail and helpful tools and tips. Clear speaker and concise descriptions.
Loved the dos and don'ts slide. Obviously an expert and passionate about this. Presentation looked sharp.
Good explanation of problem space, good tools explanation. Liked the php specific libs.
Areas to improve: Do real demos and have videos as backup. There were some slides where you read notes too much.

the length of the content was great, leaving a good amount of time for questions. I think the input from questions and other tips from everyone was helpful. liked how it became a conversation type of talk.

Good introduction and tool recommendations. I would like to have seen more concrete, non-hello-world level examples of how to think through "how do I diagram this type of use case most effectively"? though I realize that's not always easy in a 50 minute session.
Really enjoyed the content. Loved the comparison to photography and art in general in creating diagrams. Also, really appreciate the intro to MermaidJS

Now that im back in the office and trying to communicate all the information I learned from this last weekend, I am SO glad I attended this talk/presentation. This is helping me create the visuals at such a speedy pace! THANK YOU
