Great talk. Good info.

I came into it expecting it to focus more on automating team / company process than individual process, but I think I just misread the description.

It was a nice survey of automation tools. A little more polish, organization, and clarity, would make the presentation a 5-star presentation. As it is, it was very good.

Good overview of automation tools and more specifically, Matt's thought process on how and when to go about automating things.

I like the insights shared, such as simpler things like Alfred. It was nice to see how the overall process was more organic and adding just a bit of change to your team can have big dividends down the road. The colors did need some more contrast at times but you acknowledge that. I would find it more interesting also if you could share more about some of the shell scripts, or generic versions of them. They were mentioned a bit but I did not see any examples.

Good rundown on how and when to automate some of the development processes. While not as detailed in the Ansible aspect, with more focus on the primary OS environment, it was still well put together to help others learn to do more automation.

Good and engaging talk grounded in personal experience/motivation so more relatable than the usual talk. Slides/text could use some color correction/contrast but you did acknowledge that - just a little thing to work on. As a solo tech I liked the personal perspective rather than team based.

Excellent presentation! Matt was really into the topic and kept my interest the entire talk. The presentation was fun, but also quite practical. It was mostly about specific tools to try out, but admittedly I haven't even seen or tried all the different angles of automation that were suggested. Excellent!
