Some good stuff, found 1 gem in it. Would have liked to see more on new features and less on what mariadb is.

Good story on Unicode (although not what I expected when I read the description). Next time it's maybe nice to show some practical examples of strings and weird (Unicode) characters. That could make it even more interesting
