A well-researched, entertaining and engaging talk that was illuminating for programmers of all persuasions.
Really entertaining look at the quirks that JavaScript has, but all languages do, and why it's awesome that despite those we make amazing things with it.
Thanks so much! :)
Not all talks need slides. Maia's enthusiasm and energy about sharing all the amazing open* things happening around the world was an absolute joy to watch. When the keynote speaker is self-professing to be fangirling about some of the things they are talking about, you know they are passionate about what they are talking about.
Really enjoyed Ben's talk. A good, fun introduction to thinking like a virus-creator and being security conscious.
Also really appreciated discovering the Play It Again Sam tool for "live" demoing.
This talk was packed with real-world advice about building an inclusive, robust, open source community; in an entertaining and engaging dialog that Paul is renounced for. I highly recommend watching the video recording of this talk.
