Great presentation for PHP developers. I liked the breadth of tools and actual examples. Good tools to measure code quality and give visibility that is difficult to show. Good recap and resources at the end.
I agree with the philosophy of the presentation. My personal experience working with a team of developers has led me to abide very strictly with these paradigms.
First, make your content downloadable. Without it being downloadable I'm less likely to return to the slides. :(
Also, please state in the description this is a PHP specific talk. Although the "meta" of the presentation is universal I wasn't able to gain much with the majority of the examples due to the PHPness of everything.
Clear slides, presented well, tools shown seemed good, but only downside is they were nearly all PHP tools. I wish that was made clear in the description of the talk, other than that, great job.
This was really interesting until it took a turn into PHP. Next time skip the language specific tools or make it very clear in the description that it is a language specific class.
First half of the talk was good, with some concrete suggestions that developers on any platform could benefit from. Second half dove into specifics on PHP which was not mentioned at all in the description of the session. I would have preferred a higher-level presentation of toolsets across multiple languages instead of PHP-only examples.

Btw, I have to say I'm surprised by some of the other somewhat negative comments about the description not containing any reference to the fact that this talk was focused on php.

it clearly states the talk is PHP related with this sentence:
"Adam Culp will introduce tools to grade, benchmark, and analyze PHP code in an automated fashion. "
Besides that, he did in fact mention there are other tools similar to these, for other languages.
Just saying, Dissing a talk with low ratings, because you didn't read the full description, is pretty rude IMO.

I wish the description had mentioned PHP, or the talk had focused more on generics of quality software instead of specific PHP tools.

Good intro into several PHP tools to use to track bugs, sniff code, and get quantifiable metrics of a code base's technical debt.
