Software which allows users to interact with through traditional conversation (aka a chatbot) is growing exponentially. Over the next few years, people will begin expecting all software to have natural language built-in. In this presentation we’ll walk through how to get started with Amazon’s Lex platform which is the system behind Alexa. We’ll cover some key lessons learned from going beyond the hello-world of chatbots and building real systems which feel natural.
