I was specting something more advanced. By the title of the presentation some kind of advices/reason on when/why/how migrate from a traditional DB to NoSQL. It felt quite basic as well

I never thought I would attend such an introductory talk from Derick Rethans! Really decaffeinated!

Is always a pleasure to see Derick, but I was expecting a deeper talk, either more technical or more personal real cases. Tough, he always demonstrates good knowledge on the topics.

An introductory presentation that I did not really needed from an excellent speaker.

Slides definitively needed more effort, they were mostly plain text. Bearing in mind this was an introductory presentation, it is hard to believe there is no better material available to support it.

For people who we don't know anything about mongo, it was a nice introduction. The slides can be improved a lot.

Good talk, a bit basic. Expected more something more concrete and hands on from the title. I spoke with Derick afterwards and he's a smart and nice guy, helped me out on some specific concerns i had.

Really good but in my opinion, it was an introduction about that without deep in the theme.

I saw Derick giving two talks in PHPBarcelona 2011, and were probably the best in the whole event, so I expected a bit more from him.

This time, slides were plain, boring, with little text and no detail at all. Content was more than introductory even for me who never had worked with mongo. And speech was quite plain and monotonous.

Maybe he's not as enthusiastic to talk about mongo as he's when talking about xdebug?

It was ok, the delivery maybe a bit plain and the content maybe a bit too simple/introductory
