Security is an enormous topic, and it’s really, really complicated. If you’re not careful, you’ll find yourself vulnerable to any number of attacks which you definitely don’t want to be on the receiving end of. This talk will give you just a taster of the vast array of things there is to know about security in modern web applications, such as writing secure PHP web applications and securing a Linux server. Whether you are writing anything beyond a basic brochure website, or even developing a complicated business web application, this talk will give you insights to some of the things you need to be aware of.

Very insightful.
So many times I've seen developers making the simplest mistakes. Very good security overview. Definitely need to have the hacker mentality when writing good code!!
Great talk. No prevarication or magic. The only reason this isn’t a 5/5 is due to the bad advice; “don’t use exec/eval”. Amateur!
This was very insightful. Thanks for the awesome talk.
very nice talk enjoyed it back to basics but reinforcing the aspects of security with good examples.I enjoy the way you present your topics
I am always so concerned about these factors and usually things clients are not aware of, leaving all the responsibility to fall on me! So much to learn here and thank heavens for people in the know, who demonstrate factually and articulately the level of lockdown that is easily reached for further peace of mind! Prison Break? Not with this info!
Brilliant talk!
Learnt a ton even though some of the basics were covered.
