Running PHP used to be as simple as copying files onto a shared host via FTP. What if we could get back to something that simple, but gain in security, performances and scalability as well? Let’s deploy PHP on AWS Lambda using Bref, an open-source solution for building serverless PHP applications.

Really good overview of Bref and serverless as a whole. Enjoyed seeing the case studies - particularly interesting to know externals.io’S make-up. Great talk!

Interesting and thought provoking

I have briefly looked into Bref previously but hadn't followed through with any implementation, instead opting for Python for serverless. This talk provided a lot more background and rekindled a desire to experiment with Bref.

Really enjoyed!

I really liked how it wasn't just Bref-focused and looked at the wider environment of serverless. Also liked the nuanced explanations of the trade-offs.

Had just enough pointers to the Bref detail that interested attendees can learn more

Great starting point for serverless, without being a sales-pitch for bref.

A very good overview of where Bref is at with serverless technologies delivered by a very good presenter. More next year, s'il vous plaît.

Clear and engaging talk. I really love the way you built it up and how you presented the concept in an easy to understand way, keeping everyone interested along the way. I'd not change a thing.

A really good overview of serverless setups, delivered by a confident speaker who knows their subject.
