It's also very funny and entertaining and does go way beyond the basics. Ross did a great job of explaining etags and concepts like content negotiation (amongst many other things) and how (not) to use them.
Yes, it does go very fast.
But Ross: I think as a speaker you just has the (natural?) ability to keep the attention of a crowd. It's hard to believe you haven't been doing this for the last decade or so ;-)
