Finally a clear look on composer an how to use it the right way.
Excellent and real practical tips.
Very very useful stuff!
First action point this monday: check my project's version requirements!
Also good tips about maintaining our own private packages and contributing to the public ones, very important!
Very interesting talk, thanks!
Great presenter with humor and a lot of knowledge with great examples. Definitely some insights to take 'home'!
I know there's a lot of developers out there who think they know all about composer already; well all I can say is: go see this talk!
Good structure, great fun, and very, very informative.
After this talk you'll know how to use composer like a real PRO.
@Rafael:
Please also put in the abstract for the next cfp that you explain the 'composer init' side of things, cause I've never seen (or read) a better explanation of how you would go about and create your own package (for proper use with composer and packagist): what things to consider regarding dependencies and semantic versioning, readmes, changelogs and beta mode.
It would be so nice if everybody got it right. ;)
Great talk for all of us composer users to learn some of the details about how composer works. Also a very good intro into some details on how to prepare our own packages for releasing...
Interesting talk, need to change some of habits in my team...
Good clear talk with a lot of good info.
Might be good idea to add some more information on the differences + pro's/con's between satis / toran proxy. Or even compare with the just add the repository in composer.json.
Cool talk, didn't expect to pick up as much new things about composer as I did! Very well brought, enthusiastic speaker and tips that are very useful.
Great talk, cleared up several "dilemmas" for me
A great explanation of how you should use composer
Really useful information and practical tips about Composer for both publishers and consumers. Keep up the good work Rafael!
