Excellent presentation filled with lots of good information. It also sparked some really good discussions making this talk even better. I picked up on a few very important things with regards to security but also laws and regulations. Thanks!
Interesting approach on security. Not focused on how to prevent it in code but more about what are the common vulnerabilities, what laws and regulations are there to prevent it, what are the risks etc.
Excellent presentation given by Derk and an awesome job at raising security awareness for developers.
Even though the presentation was aimed at a general audience, it was filled with lots of eye openers (60% of all security attacks are still on SQL injection and XSS), a marvellous movie about using social media and opening up the discussion in regards to raising overall quality of development projects, including testing.
A few notes for the speaker: ensure you keep your slides in the same language from begin to end and as you know this subject very well, don't be nervous.
Very interesting which triggered a lot of discussion. Points of advice:
- Try to focus the presentation on the expected type of crowd
- Work on timing if you want to give this talk at a conference
