Good introduction, well executed. I wanted to hear a bit more about design choices, like, the moment when @mwop changed his mind about immutability of the objects. Also, I think you should stress a bit more why this is so important, why this is game-changing, and why it's not only about HTTP itself.

Quite a lot of historical information on PSR-7 and related PHP-FIG work. You can even learn that not every single object in PDR-7 is immutable ;)
