This talk could have more what's cooking now and what we could expect in newer versions And speaker could start to talk about past first and then to reach version 7 and later, instead of going to the past from present.

This was talk gave me good insight in current state of affairs, mixed with how we got to here.
And I agree that stricter typing should have been used in php7 (and that nice lil' pragma is so going into
all our projects)
