This would be a great talk if it were boring and just talking about php 7.4. But it was really engaging with php 7.4 thrown in!

Very engaging, making light and interesting of what could be a dry subject. Some clear examples with good explanations. Fantastic insight into the why things are done and the stories behind them.

A fantastic way to address complex concepts in a clear and accessible way for a range of audiences. Very useful practically and peppered with the right amount of humour.

Well paced. Incredible breadth balanced with good depth. A potentially dry subject matter brought to life with humour and simple but relatable examples.

Really interesting talk on what's different with php7.4

Also liked that he introduced the people working on php

Great speaker & knowledge, and some very interesting developments in current and future PHP. Emoji in class names made me twitch a bit, but I bet I'll be doing it tomorrow...

Great informative talk about the changes to php 7.4, interesting to learn about the podcasts. The speaker got a little tongue tied on occasion which upset the flow of the talk, but other than that an interesting and informative talk.
