PyPI has become an important piece of the puzzle when it com es to build and deliver some Python applications you can declare dependen cies in your package to third-party libraries, and tools like setuptools o r zc.buildout will try to get them at PyPI.This brought up two new prob lems - what if PyPI is down ?- what if the package is private to your company, and you don't want it at PyPI ?
