Very interesting. It made me think that the 1st thing my staff would say is that they don't have time to do this kind of self assessment/development...that's a problem. We need to make sure we have time to develop them, no matter what their level.
Craig and Luis were very well spoken and clearly excellent presenters. They made the idea of competency models very easy to understand, answered questions thoroughly and effectively. These models can be used in almost any office, and is certainly something I will bring up at my own office.
Both were good speakers and were comfortable in front of a group. A lot of good information was presented, but both seemed to rush through the slides. I would have liked more time to view and take notes on the slides.
