She knew her audience and provided useful takeaways. Very much impressed with her talk. Very clear and direct. Good job.
Excellent talk about how to benchmark doctrine and how to optimize some performance issues.
Even I didn't learn anything new, Anna was well prepared and delivered interesting topic with real problem and solutions.
Good info, presented very well but a bit too general and low key for my taste; especially since it was marked as an “advanced” talk.
I’d assume any advanced/intermediate php/symfony developer knows unsetting a var clears up memory. Also batch operations are in the doctrine manual.
I hoped to learn new advanced techniques or insights; but that didn’t happen.
It was a good talk nonetheless; just not what I expected.

Anna is a competent and confident presenter, who delivered he material very well.
Unfortunately he content missed the mark for me - this seemed to be much more a talk about how to conduct benchmarking than it was one on how to improve performance with Doctrine and there was nothing particularly 'advanced' about the techniques being suggested.
It also seemed odd at a Symfony conference that all the code/examples were in 'raw' Doctrine, rather than 'the Symfony way'.
It was presented very well, but I expected more advanced stuff - presented problems where bit specific to batch processing with doctrine. Really liked parts about benchmarking and automation.
Interesting talk, but I would loved that you talk more about Doctrine with Symfony, the stopwatch component and external tools that could be useful.
Wasn't able to attend the slides, but Anna was kind enough to give me a very short run through the slides before her talk. Well laid out with very smart concepts in it.
