I learned Symfony after I'd been using PHP without frameworks for several years and I think that this approach would have helped me a lot in the early days.
Really descriptive about converting Fullstack symfony into micro Framework !
Have now some good ideas for my next project. ( no Silex no Laravel just symfony). Thanks Ryan ! Great Job!
As a teacher myself I was really looking forward for this. I am convinced that boiling down Symfony to its minimal dimension is crucial for learning, and the MicroKernel will really help me on that. My next Symfony courses will take this talk in serious consideration. (and I also have a couple of projects that I will enjoy to "microfy" :D)
Amazing talk by an extremely dynamic speaker this talk was perfectly structured.
The only thing I can comment upon is that the room was extremely packed due to the talk popularity which made it extremely warm, perhaps it would have been better suited to a Track A slot.

Another interesting and entertaining talk. I think I'll borrow the split admin and frontend into seperate kernels idea in some future projects ;-).

Great piece of code,

you are one of the speakers that make me want to come back every year! Thumbs up!
