Excellent talk, easy to follow for being more technical. Very excited to implement MySQL 5.7 now, will bring tremendous speed improvements to my app.

I happened to be working with MySQL JSON the day before the talk. Morgan's talk answered all my questions and more. I'll be putting his ideas into practice soon.

This was a good talk. I think that the addition of the JSON datatype is great. I'm looking forward to implementing it in applications in the future.
