Really enjoyed the talk - very broad presentation of the subject.
Having not previously looked at Doctrine 2, this was a great overview of the problems it is trying to solve.
The presentation was a fantastic overview of ORM/ODM concepts and how Doctrine solves them. It was nice to get Jeremey's insight and experience. Really engaging presentation, well done.
High quality talk by a very knowledgeable speaker. Jeremy did a great job covering the various patterns used by Doctrine and other frameworks / libraries.
I had never used doctrine before but he quickly showed that any large asp that accesses the database a lot simply needs to use doctrine because otherwise things can be very inefficient.
