State of the Mocks

When we are writing a test in which we cannot (or chose not to) use a real dependency, we can replace it with a Test Double. PHPUnit supports the automatic generation of stubs and mocks for this. Alternative mock object libraries such as Mockery and Phake promise to be more powerful yet to be easier to use. This session compares the various mock object implementations for PHP that are available.

Sebastian is a good speaker and is able to present his talk and answer questions in between. He knows his slides very well and can navigate to a certain case to show matching examples to questions.
Unfortunately the current state is not far evolved so he could not present the full hour but with his great knowledge and experience was able to create a good discussion.

I was not at the party last night. There is a difference between being sick and being hung over.

Sometimes the examples are a bit too academic.
Besides that as always a great talk by Sebastian.

It was a pity that Sebastian was sick (also the day before wasn't very well), although session was nice and interesting.

Quite nice session. I hoped to get some more details about the other frameworks, but apparently those are not (yet) as mature as the PHPUnit one.
