MySQL is the most used database for PHP-powered applications. Still many users don't know much more than msql_query() and PDO::query(). This presentation will demonstratethe pros andcons ofthe different MySQL APIs for PHP (ext/mysql, msqli, pdo_msql) as well as demystify mysqlnd. It will also show recent advances by the PHP and MySQL development teams.

Nothing special but some good news about development and future of MySQL in the new Oracle life like "MySQL is important to Oracle".

Quite a bit of the presentation information was already known to me. Lots of information in one presentation though, which I personally like, good job on that.

Small remark: try to talk a little slower if you can. Easier to understand for people that are not totally into the subject, and you will seem to be more relaxed. You still might have been relaxed, but because of the high speed and "heavy" breathing, you seemed nervous.
