For someone who is not an OSS contributor attending their first tek conference, I thought there were too many insider terms. Perhaps this talk should have preceded the mentor summit or be made into a tutorial where newbies actually get hands on experience doing a 'pull request', fixing some bug or documentation and submit it for review.
