Stressing out about meeting deadlines for delivering software? A good development process can make a world of difference to the quality of your work and work environment. I'd like to share my experiences and tell you about the process that I use to manage my development teams at Message Systems.

This is not a manager-only talk; I'm an Engineer and my process is engineering focused. We'll talk in practical terms about all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from roadmap management, through development, testing, bug fixing and release.

I also thought it was very good. Lots of great info in there; might have to pick your brain about some of it for my team.

Excellent introduction to scrum and its benefits. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in how this agile practice works and what benefits they can expect from it.

I got a lot out of your presentation. Specifically, your explanation of SCRUM was very insightful.

I enjoyed the presentation, although I've heard a lot of the information before. The best bits of the presentation were when you went 'off-script' to answer questions or inject real-life scenarios/issues encountered.

I found the slides a bit 'wordy' - but you readily acknowledged that at the time.

I would love to see a companion presentation about process implementation and implementation issue resolution (ie. How to get from process A to B - and what pitfalls to avoid.)

I'm at OSCON. I'm not much of a scrum fan (it me feel tired thinking about it), but nice sales job anyway. Liked the TV show.
