The communities around software are one of the main advantages of using open source products. Both PHP and most open source packages written in PHP have large and active communities. What types of community are there? What do they do? How can you get involved - and why would you want to? How can you or your business be sure you will derive value in return? These are questions that we will be answering in this session.

Fairly comprehensive guide on resources in the community and how to best utilize them. Excellent balance and pace between the two speakers. Clear they put a lot of thought and work into the presentation. A bit odd that there were no slides to complement verbal content from the speakers, though the overall presentation suffered very little for it.

Awesome presentation about community stuff by @lornajane and @skoop and should have been recorded... This should be the 101 on community intelligence.

Good coverage of the topic and a variety of things that I had - and hadn't - considered over the years. I'd like to see a few more tangible of examples of successful and failed efforts to do what Lorna and Skoop described.
