The title of the talk was a bit misleading: the presentation was more about Sarama.go than about concurrency patterns in general. It would have been great if the specific context of Sarama.go and Kafka could have been hidden a bit more. The patterns themselves could have been extracted and emphasized more... it was a bit hard to follow without prior knowledge to the Kafka framework.
