What Is A Great Closing Keynote?

You can't $hat here, it might buffer overflow.

This was a lot of fun! I liked that quite a few people could be involved on stage. I wish there had been a bit more time devoted to explaining the answers. A lot of people didn't know a few of the podcasts, mentioned, for example, and it would be neat to be able to use the answer moment as a time to teach the rest of the crowd about the answer (not a lot, just something really quick) so they are learning and not just feeling lost with the answers. Might also be fun that if no one on stage knows the answers to ask the audience to yell out answers to keep everyone a engaged.

It was fun, but I'm more than a little biased. :)

I had a great time as a contestant and as an audience member. The Jeremys and special guests did a great job of making this event fun and light-hearted. As a contestant, it was a little difficult for me to see the huge screens on either side of the stage since I was viewing them at an oblique angle. I listen to the podcasts, so was disappointed that I couldn't remember any of their names! Stage fright + performance anxiety = "duhhh" ... at least that's the excuse I'm sticking with.

Top notch fun. I agree that more audience involvement would make this even better, but there's nothing like some good ol' PHP trivia. The Jeopardy twist? A bonus.

I now resolve to include the $hat variable in every project moving forward.
