Great summary of PHP's history and excellent presentation skills. Thanks!

Good overview of what Symfony Flex has to offer. Thanks!

I really liked the comparison between different solutions but also showing the advantages of autowiring itself. Thank you!

A very good choice for an opening keynote and a very interesting story with great photos. Thank you!

Yeah, there is an army saying in Croatia: "Nothing should surprise us" and I might need to get into that groove :)

Thank you all for your feedback!

Thank you all for feedback!

@Boyan: After first time doing this talk (it was at PHP Serbia where you saw it) I decided that I need to nail down some of the details bit more. About tech issues, I had them, just got them sorted out before the talk started :)

@Leszek & @Pim: SORRY if you tought title is a clickbait cause I do believe that testing everything and all the time brings no value. Key is being aware that you are investing both your time and money and you should get something in return: testing is not a purpose for it self.

Good talk, I didn't have a chance to see Paweł on stage before, but the company he is part of is widely known at least in Poland. I also knew that his talks often go beyond technical details and cover topics on the higher level of abstraction. That was unusual on phpCE because most of the talks I saw was very close to the code.

Slides were prepared with attention to details, more energy would be appreciated especially that Pawel's talk was on the morning.

Unfortunately, I missed the first few minutes of this talk, but what I saw when I finally came allows me to regret it. Talk was very enjoyable, the history behind the PHP mascot is very interesting and it is something that any other community besides the PHP one can envy us.

Damien is a very good speaker with the skill of keeping attendees focused and involved. That was exactly what I was expecting from the keynote.

Overall great workshop.

It came with a catch - not a whole lot of Doctrine involved in a Doctrine workshop, which is actually fine, the author showed how when we develop our domain models we should not be thinking in terms of our ORM, which, as it's often said is an implementation detail.

The pace of the workshop was maybe a bit to slow at the beginning if you are a bit more advanced, starting with full procedural (w3 school) approach and transforming it into OPP and than moving towards DDD. But on the other hand, this pace was probably appreciated by beginners.

The author was keen to answer questions and explained some general DDD concepts and even gave as a mini Event Storming workshop at the end.

Probably some details could be fine polished but overall I will give it a 5-star rating because I think the workshop delivered what was promised from the title and description (and more).

Clickbait title, funny pictures... I was almost sad that there was actually some nuance. A topic everyone comes up to at some point in there career, and Miro provides a good short cut based on his own experience.
